Do you charge for spectators?
Pattison’s North does not charge for spectating. Children who are not accompanied by an adult on Friday or Saturday evening sessions must purchase a ticket and have skates on.
Excludes adult public skate and special events.
Can I bring in my own outside food or beverage?
Outside food or drinks are not permitted in the facility. Pattisons’ North offers a full size snackbar to fulfill your needs. Please note: Cakes are allowed with a private party or party room reservation only.
Can we use our own skates?
Yes!!!
You can bring your own skates and use them here at Pattison’s North as long as they pass our safety inspection at the front desk. Our safety inspection consists of: making sure they are in good working condition, cleanliness (no dirt stuck in the wheels or toe stop/brake), and making sure there are no dangerous bolts sticking out.
Is there an age limit for skaters?
We have noticed great improvements in balance, coordination, stamina, and confidence when starting children skating when they first start to walk. It all depends on the skater and the parents when they feel comfortable to start skating.
We also offer skate trainers for rent to help the little ones out!

Can we have a stroller or scooter on the skating floor?
Absolutely Not! For your safety and everyone else’s safety scooters and strollers are not allowed.
Can we wear our skates entering and exiting the building?
If I have a birthday reservation do I have to wait in line?
Yes. If you are hosting a party at Pattison’s, you will need to wait in line and check in at the front desk. We need to confirm the party and make sure all your information is correct.
If I am attending a birthday party do I have to wait in line?
Yes. All customers need to wait in line at the front desk. If you are invited to a party, you will need to check-in at the front desk to get your ticket for your skates.
Skate Requirements
- All quad skates must have toe stops or plugs if there is a spot of them.
- Likewise, all inline skates must have a brake if the inline has the spot for them.
- Toe stops, brakes and plugs will be checked upon enter to ensure proper equipment and ensure the part is not too worn.
- A worn toe stop, brake or plug can expose the screw/bolt which can damage the floor.
Lockers & Use
- Lockers-Lockers are available for your personal items.
- Pattison’s North offers lockers for 50 cents each use.
- Pattison’s will not be responsible for lost or stolen items. If you have lost something please notify the office or ask about our lost and found.
